This is a nice short lunchbreak read. I'm not known to this particular world of shifters but this reunion does want to make me get the other previous books. You can read this as a more or less stand alone, not too many characters are involved to loose track of them.
For the story itself : (I'll try to keep spoilers out of it)
It's got a nice rush to the storyline, no beating around the bush. I disliked Keith from the start and the only reason I'm giving this four stars is that there was a huge missed opportunity to make that conceited bastard pay for what he did. As is, he didn't even put up a fight, so no wonder Silas wants to wash him off... I would have toyed with him, really make him pay, give false insecurity... It's possible I'm a bit vindictive when getting my anger out!
Conclusion :
If you like a well written, lustfull, fast paced story with a HEA, then Reunion is the e-book to get on your device of choice.

Nice Read

The story was a great addition the Order of Alphas series, perhaps more a of prequel in some respects. In a nutshell, Silas meets his mate Reina. They share a steamy night of ecstasy and he walks away but not without some angst. He views himself as a loner holding himself accountable for the annihilation of his clan. Fast forward 5 years. The stakes are higher and walking away is not an option. The book is short (sigh) but the passion between the main characters adds just the right amount of spice. Even the gruesome bits makes this tale fun to read. I eagerly await the next book in the series.

Past and present.

This was a quick read that covers a span of time but nothing's missing. Silas and Reina met, it was immediate sparks then an abrupt disappearance. Years later he's drawn to her only to find she's not alone. Can he get his family, does he want a family? Well in the end, years later, it all brings us back to the present issues at hand.

Just Can't Say Enough

How to you explain something that has had such a powerful effect on your life? McKenna reminds us that there are many kinds of "rich" and to look for the riches already in your life. It caused me to acknowledge that my life, both the rich and the not so rich aspects, were a reflection of the "wealth" I'd created. I'd been ignoring the evidence that I was a powerful manifestor! Now I'm aware and grateful everyday of what I've already created and that I'm capable of creating much more.

Do the worksheets in this book. As I did one of them, I was shocked at how much "@#%&" I STILL had about money! Old childhood programming was lurking in my subconscious - I had no idea it was even there. Listen to the CD that's included with the book. It's an opportunity to make real changes. As another reviewer wrote, the CD alone is worth the price of the book (but you've got to use it).

Inspiring, though-provoking, gets you jazzed, CD is great!

He has really great stories in here (steamboat story and Henry Ford story) and some wonderful exercises/questions. I love the hypnosis CD. I actually get really jazzed after listening to it so I would not recommend listening to it right before bed.

I like his CD because it helps with the visualization process. He gets you into a good relaxed state to do the visualizing and he has some interesting visualizations to do as well. In fact, now that I am writing this review I may go listen to the CD.

His voice is fantastic. It is so relaxing and soothing I have developed a crush on his voice.

Amen! Amen!

I would like to thank Dr. Osei, and of course his editors, Dr. Issa, and Dr. Faraji, for this very competent extrapolation on the use of the word "Amen" in the world "religions" of today. The modern world system, manifested as "global white supremacy", in it's institutions of higher learning, have given no credit to anything or anybody that comes from Afrika.

This attitude, is used due to jealousy, envy, and racisim, of the so called white race, because of their lack of melanin, and their late start into civilization. More contemporaneously, they have used this attitude to justify the pillage, rape, and destruction of peoples, lands, and civilizations across the globe. The most heinous of their crimes, has been the cooptation of the only true "God", as was conceived by Afrikans in the nile valley thousands of years ago, into "their" own cultural/ethnic eurocentric presentation to the world. History does not substantiate their lies, and this work, along with "The Ancient Egyptians are here", substantiates the truth of who the real Khemites are, and who god really is. Thank you!!!!!!!!

I would like to critique this work with some additional comment. My research has shown me that the ancient khemites did not use the word dark" as a descriptor of objects, as they did the word "Black". This is very important, because global white supremacy, has redefined, and defined, words to take on meanings for their benefit. Dark, for example, is always equated with ignorance, barbaric, dirty, without light. Black, however, according to science, and ancient Afrikans, is the origin of all things. Even "white light", comes from Ultraviolet light, (beyond violet, or black), or black light. Black contains all the light, colors, etc. We should refer to the "Nun", and ourselves as Black, not dark. See the book, "The Meaning of Blackness", by IM Nur.

Secondly, and lastly, there were many migrations oput of Afrika, before and after the invasions by europeans, and asians/arabs. When you designate who the ancient egyptians are, you can't just say it was those Afrikans in current West Afrika, and the diaspora of the west. Afrikans left the nile valley and saharan complex areas, before and after the invasions. These Afrikans, in other places of the globe besides the west, also have many of the cultural/genetic links to the ancient nile valley.

About the Author
Janine E. Trempy, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Microbiology and the Associate Dean in the College of Science at Oregon State University. She has received numerous research and teaching awards from Oregon State University, and in 1996 she was named by the Carnegie Foundation/CASE as Oregon Professor of the Year for her development and use of innovative inquiry based cooperative learning environments. She was a Waksman/American Society for Microbiology Traveling Lecturer, presenting lectures focusing on science education reform. Her research focus is on bacterial crisis management systems, microbial applications (i.e. biosensor development; food safety) and developing inclusive learning environments that enhance science literacy.

Nancy Trun is an Assistant Professor in the Dept of Biological Sciences at Duquesne University where she teaches undergraduate and graduate level microbial genetics. She has taught microbial genetics courses at the University of Maryland and at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and received the National Institutes of Health Director's Award for science education at the elementary school level. Currently, her research focus is on chromosome folding in bacteria.

I got this book for my bacterial genetics class and it was very useful. It explains things very easily. I recommend it.

Horrible Text

I am teaching from this book this semester,and I'm not adopting it next year. I chose it because I thought it would be approachable for my students. It is wrought with inconsistencies, and references to processes not introduced for several chapters. It greatly oversimplifies concepts and leaves crucial background material out, confusing students who can actually think. I end up spending A LOT of time searching for material, illustrations, or animations that will make sense out of what the authors have presented. There is very little emphasis placed on problem solving, or historical perspective, and the students are left questioning why the material presented is important. Most of the links on the publishers site are broken, not all of the artwork is supplied in the downloads (I am missing all of the artwork for chapters 8 and 9)and the book is not available in e format. There are a few animations, but for a process heavy subject, there should be quite a few more. The Synder and Champness text (http://www.amazon.com/Molecular-Genetics-Bacteria-Third-Snyder/dp/1555813992) text from ASM is a much better book, although it is twice the price, my students can get it in e-format or rent it. Stay away from this text.

State of the Art Dictionary for Speakers of English as a 2nd

This is not a "junior dictionary." This dictionary is a 100% up-to-date state of the art dictionary with a comprehensive listing of any word you might encounter as well as a key for how to use it in a sentence. With that key, students can figure out how to use the word properly in speech and composition. The dictionary itself is a learning tool because the definitions of the 60,000+ words included are limited to a 2000-word vocabulary, giving the student practice while learning new words. Additionally, the dictionary has many illustrations and diagrams which list thematic vocabulary (for example everything that is under the hood of a car or everything that is in a fully-equipped kitchen). The definitions are clear and precise: look at the definition for the word "piece." In that definition you will find a flow-chart with questions like, "Is it solid?" "Is it thin?" and so on, leading the learner to words like "drop, dash, squirt, wisp, chunk, slice, slab, segment, grain, speck...." My reading students, whose first language is English, love this book also, because the defining vocabulary is within their range. It is comprehensive enough that even teachers will find definitions of unfamiliar words (for example, I just learned that "chock" is a block of wood used to wedge under a tire). This book is the best investment a student can make. It is also an investment that every teacher should make in service to his/her students
