I found this text to be a fascinating read. I learned much about the history of functional appliances, their development and the reasons behind their development. For any student of orthodontics, this book provides an excellent history of functional orthodontics and its place in the armamentarium of the modern orthodontist. --Kevin J. Fabulous book on Myofunctional Therapy

Great book! Really shows the struggle to help people with straight teeth and jaws that line up! The history shows how it has been a disagreement for so long regarding form and function.
